Dear readers, my name is Faith Mabera, welcome to my newsletter. The Finer Points is essentially an analysis of international relations, developments in peace and security, geopolitics and foreign policy. I draw on several years of experience working as a senior researcher at foreign policy think tank as well as engagement with an array of stakeholders in think tanks, government, civil society and the private sector. My primary research interests include foreign policy, diplomacy, peace and security, geopolitical dynamics and global governance issues. As the name suggests, the main goal of Finer Points is to present clear and balanced analysis of developments relevant to international relations in a format that separates noise from signal. I consider myself an aspiring polymath who is on a continuous learning and sense making journey, seeking wisdom and insights from a broad spectrum of knowledge.
